GINA WISNIEWSKI

In Loving Memory of
GINA WISNIEWSKI
Born into life

Born into Eternity
December 27, 2001

I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those
who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
when life is done.

Ashley, 21 and Sara 18 with Gina's Parents

Sara is 18 and attending her first year at Joliet Junior College.  Ashley is 21 and
graduating Eastern Illinois University this May.  Gina would be/is very proud
of both of her beautiful daughters.

In the summer of 2009, Valerie Williams participated in the Avon walk for breast
cancer in Breckenridge Colorado in memory of Gina and other friends who were either
breast cancer survivors or who had lost their battles with the disease.  Over two days,
she walked 40 miles and raised $14,000 to aid in the fight.

In Honor and Memory of 4 Special Ladies!

Thanks for visiting my Avon Walk page. We have all been touched by this disease and for me it was very close to my heart. Two wonderful girlfriends, Barbara Slough and Susan Parslow are now breast cancer survivors! Gina Wisniewski, a work associate, beautiful lady and mother and Sylvia Nicoara, sister of my wonderful work associate Cindy Vance, mother and special lady, weren't able to beat the cancer and left their family and friends too early in life. Their courage and determination was and still is an inspiration to all who knew them and the reason I decided to be part of the solution. I feel confident that the more money we can raise to help fight breast cancer there will be a time when this disease doesn't result in the loss of life. I’ve committed to participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It’s a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next 12 weeks training and fundraising. But breast cancer is a big disease, one that still affects far too many people, and I’m determined to do everything I can to help put an end to it.
